Seahorse Decor

You glance up from your position on the cozy settee in your living room, comparing the curves in the seahorse wall decor to the many seahorses swimming happily in your large fish tank. While the colors are vastly different—and you prefer it that way, blue suits you better—the way the neck curves to form the head and then down to the snout is spot-on, and the way the tail makes an adorable curly-cue at the very bottom is very similar to the real seahorses in your tank. You pull the seahorse decorative pillow out from behind you, next comparing the seahorse art on the soft pillow to the real thing: it's got a lot more embellishment than real seahorses do, but the tiny black eyes are almost exact, and the curves along the back are just right. Perhaps the most spot-on in terms of color, shape and size, though, are the lamps glowing brightly on the end tables next to you. Not only are the curves bending in just the right way, but they have the bony, ringed appearance that real seahorses have.

The glass top table in front of you bears a seahorse suggestive of the real thing as well, but it has one very cool feature that the other beach seahorse decor in your living room does not: it has an entire deep-sea scene. It comes complete with fish, seashells, sand at the bottom, twisting corals and even bubbles that appear to be floating. This makes for the most realistic of them all, you think; the fish, bubbles and seahorses almost look as though they're really moving...
