Bot this as welcoming vase for wedding rehearsal dinner June 2016, and then a gift for bride and groom. Will be stuffed with sunflowers and all things summer, peppers, cuke & squash blossoms, tendrils, etc. Of significant weight and well balanced.
Advantages: Etching is deep, attractive and shiny black, VERY attractive. Potential uses: vase for fresh flowers, potted plant, kitchen utensil container, umbrella container, punch bowl, but also pickle crock, to name a few. While "country" in nature, the welcoming pineapple makes it a bit more modern. Couldn't be happier!
Disadvantages: None that I know of!
