I have two particular issues that need to be addressed.   Let’s start with number one, keeping all of this sand on the beach and outside of my apartment.  I have an outdoor hose to spray off my feet but this still doesn’t cut it. I try to do a little dance and rub my feet together at the top of the stairs but sooner or later I’m bound to dance over a big wood splinter in my bare feet. That’s where a nautical theme door mat comes into play.  The all natural coconut fibers will trap the sand!

Second on the list is making this “beautiful brown carpet” that my landlord has so kindly put in my apartment not so noticeable.  A Surf board Rug in the hallway will do the trick for that portion of the apartment.  It looks great next to the hallway table with Which Way to Surf Lamp.

A 8×10 beach themed rug will look great in the living room.  The Tropical Palms and Bamboo Rug might be the perfect fit.  It will cover a good portion of the walking space in the room and really tie together all of my beach decor furniture.

Now that I have that covered, I think making time for a sun tan is in need!  My beach lounge chair set wouldn’t be nearly as comfortable without these comfy Nautical Pillows.

Amazing Tangy Mustard BBQ Sauce

1/4 Cup Dijon Mustard                                                                
3/4 Cup Prepared Yellow Mustard
1 Tablespoon of Garlic Powder
1 Tablespoon of Onion Powder
1/4 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar
3/4 Cup Cider Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1 Teaspoon White Pepper
1/8 Teaspoon Cayenne
1/2 Teaspoon Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon Liquid Smoke Mesquite
1 Tablespoon Paprika
1 Teaspoon Ground Espresso
1 Teaspoon Smokey Salt
1 Cup Orange Marmalade
1/2 Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper
1 Teaspoon Garlic, Minced
2 Tablespoons Butter, Melted

Directions:

Melt butter and set aside in medium bowl. Combine the rest of the ingredients while mixing well. Whisk butter evenly into the sauce. Cook for 2 hours.
